On June 15, 2025, Rep. Stevens expressed gratitude towards fathers in celebration of Father’s Day. She highlighted her own father’s roles as a small business owner and public school teacher as embodiments of “Michigan values of grit, generosity and deep sense of community.” She extended her appreciation to all fathers with the message “Wishing everyone a very Happy Father’s Day! So grateful for my Dad a small business owner and a public school teacher. He is the embodiment of our Michigan values of grit, generosity and deep sense of community.
