On Friday, May 2, former Farmington High School standout Madelynn Pope’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Ferris State Bulldogs.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their fifth matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.
