In her initial post, Stevens reframed the traditional term for this period in Congress: “Some people call this time August Recess, I call it August WORK Period and it’s my favorite time because I get to listen, learn, and fight for you. Some highlights from the past week in my fav state.” (August 22, 2025).
She highlighted her participation at local events throughout Michigan. Stevens has represented Michigan’s 11th District since succeeding Dave Trott in 2019 and is known for engaging with constituents during district work periods. Born in Rochester Hills in 1983 and currently residing in Birmingham, she holds a BA from American University.
