Farmington Public School District recently issued the following announcement.

The Board of Education voted 5-2 to start the 2020-2021 school year remotely.
The Board of Education approved the following recommendation in a 5-2 vote:
Start the 2020-21 school year (for all K-12 students) in Learning at a Distance (fully remote).
Learning at a Distance (fully remote) will be in place for all students K-12 at least through October 30, 2020.
K-5 VLP paused during this time.
Board will continue to revisit the timeline based on conditions.
Planning will continue to take place to phase-in face-to-face instruction for certain populations after October 30th, as appropriate.
