Waterford School District issued the following announcement on Oct 29.
Beaumont Elementary recognized two students as part of their Third Grade Reading Awards. Superintendent Lindberg and Principal Walsh gave out the awards to Anni Swanson and Evan Barrett.
Mrs. Reyburn nominated Anni for her love and passion for reading and working hard to complete her summer reading goals. Evan was nominated by Mrs. Brokaw for reading above grade level and for exceeding the 50 minute Lexia goal and 50-minute independent homework for the week.
The Waterford Rotary and Michigan United Credit Union are the award sponsors. The program encourages students to keep on reading!
