Waterford School District issued the following announcement on Nov 5.
As part of the Focus on the Road Video Competition, Kettering students in Mrs. Zwiren’s journalism class got a visit from Jeff Phelps, a video producer from the The Suburban Collection. Students will be producing a distracted driving PSA as part of their class assignment.
Phelps shared his experiences in the film and video industry and what it takes to become a success. Students offered their insight on how the younger generation consumes media and advertising.
They also got to get their hands on some professional cameras. We can’t wait to see what creative videos they will produce! Stay tuned!
