Milford High School Homecoming Tailgaters - 

Just wanted to share last minute information regarding the 2022 Milford Homecoming Tailgate.  The Homecoming tailgate will follow the parade that starts at 4:15. If you are coming straight from the parade most people will arrive to the back parking lot of Milford High School around 4:45-5:00 p.m. 

*Milford High School Leadership will provide the space and has set-up to have food trucks and Kona Ice available. Everything else should be provided by those tailgating so please bring tents, tables, chairs, lawn games, football, and snacks. Both Bueno Taco and Burger Joint have great options for everyone but if there is something specific you would like to have please bring it. Beuno's menu is attached and Burger Joint will be cooking sliders, hot dogs, and tater tots. 

*The parking lot will be open all day for set-up. Feel free to set-up your tents between 7:00 a.m. -  4:00 p.m. We ask when it comes time for the actual tailgate that cars are parked in the main parking lot and that people walk over to the tailgate. After the tailgate is over cars may come back over to pack up the tailgate area and anything you may have brought. 

*At 5:25 we would like to start a new tradition called the "Maverick Walk" where the entire tailgate (students, families, staff, Future Mavs, etc...) will line the sidewalk from the school to the stadium to clap in our Football team. The sidewalk will be directly behind the Food Trucks and our goal is to have the entire tailgate take a moment to line-up and clap in the team on the way to warm-ups. 

*Attached you will find the map and the general area you will set up your tent. We will have your spot marked with chalk on Thursday with the number assigned so you know to set-up in that general area. Any Mustang tents can be set-up on the south side of the parking lot and there is a large field behind for kids to run around. We do have more room in the parking lot so feel free to spread the word about the MHS Homecoming Tailgate! Contact MHSLeadership@hvs.org if you would like a tent space reserved.
