On Friday, October 21, 2022 (weather permitting) asphalt paving is scheduled for Hamlin, Conroy and James courts. On Saturday, October 22, (weather permitting) asphalt paving is scheduled for Cass Ct and Moore Street. On Monday, October 24, 2022 (weather permitting) asphalt paving is scheduled Fleming Street. This layer of asphalt to be put down then will complete all road paving operations for each street. It is anticipated that the paving operation will be completed within each mentioned day and residents will be allowed to access the road again later in the day. Please be advised that residents of the noted streets will not be able to use their street during this work and residents of the court streets will be impacted twice as outlined below.
On Friday, October 21,we ask that residents of Hamlin Ct, Conroy Ct, and James Ct move all vehicles off of the street prior to 7 a.m. so the contractor can complete the road paving without any interferences. The same for residents of Cass Ct and Moore St on Saturday, October 22. For both of these days, we ask that you park any/all vehicles you may need to use on nearby streets (except for Fleming) that are not being paved during the day. Considerable truck traffic is anticipated on Fleming Street during these days and this closure to street parking on it will help mitigate any potential issues with parked vehicles.
On Monday, October 24, 2022, we kindly ask that residents of Fleming St move all vehicles off of the street prior to 7am. Additionally, residents of Fleming St, Cass Ct, Hamlin Ct, Conroy Ct, and James Ct are asked to park any/all vehicles you may need to use on nearby streets that are not being paved during this day. We understand the inconvenience of this request, but due to Fleming Street being the only means for most residents to exit the neighborhood this is necessary for the day. We do not aniticipate closures beyond this day.
Please keep children and pets away from all construction operations. Construction
activities, and the associated equipment that goes with it, is attractive to small children and can be dangerous -- this includes, but is not limited to: equipment, removals, mass grading, underground utility installation, hot/fresh asphalt, and wet concrete.
