A special guest today! Deputy Gross joined in with the MHS Mental Health Awareness Workshop this month.
The Mental Health Awareness workshop is held monthly and supported by the HVS Community Coalition. Staff including the social worker, school psychologist, behavioral interventionist, and media center technician provide the workshop monthly during seminar to help students learn about the skills used to cope with a variety of mental health issues.
This month's theme was Developmental Disabilities awareness. Deputy Gross led an activity that helped students learn about nonverbal communication.
