On Tuesday, March 18, former Walled Lake Central High School standout Britain Beshears’ current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

The game took place at Secchia Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Grizzlies this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Secchia Stadium against Ohio State Buckeyes.
