On Friday, March 28, former Lakeland High School standout Tate Farquhar’s current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6:15 p.m. at McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
