On Sunday, April 27, former St. Mary's Preparatory School standout Zane Wilson’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at SVSU Baseball Complex against Purdue Northwest Pride.
