Padma Kuppa wins House reelection bid, thanks supporters

Webp vote 13

Democratic incumbent Padma Kuppa has won the race for House District 41, defeating Republican opponent Andrew Sosnoski.

Kuppa expressed gratitude in a statement posted on her Facebook page on Nov. 4.

“It’s been an interesting morning. Woke up to a congratulatory call from my parents, and hundreds of friends, family and supporters, on re-election to represent Troy and Clawson for another term. My heart is filled with gratitude for the support received, the amazing campaign team - staff Abigail, Val, interns, volunteers - and the positive campaign that we ran. And as we wait for results on other races around the state and up and down the ballot, let’s take a moment to celebrate! We held HD41 blue!!”
