Walled Lake Consolidated Schools recently issued the following announcement.
The Walled Lake Consolidated School District (WLCSD) is a destination school district in Oakland County and has distinguished itself as being on the "cutting edge" instructionally and technologically. Significant gains in student achievement, continued implementation of state-of-the-art technology, staff commitment, and a supportive and involved parents community keep the Walled Lake Consolidated School District in its role as a leader in Oakland County. Simply, they serve every child, every day.
Annually the District participates in Schools of Choice to residents of Oakland County. The application period for the 2022-23 school year is Monday, Jan. 17 to Friday, Feb. 6. More information is available at www.wlcsd.org/soc. The application will be posted to this webpage during the application window.
WLCSD is a participant in Schools of Choice 105 on a ‘limited’ basis, not all buildings and grade levels will have openings. Applications will be accepted for grades K-10. Under Schools of Choice 105, the District may enroll students who are not WLCSD residents but still reside in one of the other 27 Oakland County school districts that meet the application guidelines.
By law, applications cannot be accepted before Jan. 17, or after Feb. 6.
