Rep. Haley Stevens, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 11th district, addressed ongoing national issues through several posts on November 10, 2025, focusing on government shutdown negotiations and economic concerns impacting her constituents.

In a post from November 10, Stevens voiced opposition to the Senate's proposed agreement to end the federal government shutdown, stating: "We all want this shutdown to end, but if this is the deal the Senate is sending us, it doesn’t work for Michigan. Republicans already raised health care costs for hundreds of thousands of Michiganders and voted to threaten Medicaid for so many people in our state. I’m going to https://t.co/QVZ3nx0Axi".

Later that day, she posted an emoji-filled message: " https://t.co/kNTyZnNO7i" (November 10).

Addressing economic challenges faced by Michigan residents, Stevens highlighted legislative action she has taken: "We are in an affordability crisis. I introduced my No Tariffs on Groceries Act to stop Trump from continuing to hike food prices on Michiganders. https://t.co/eYonTB7I2M" (November 10).

Stevens has represented Michigan’s 11th District in Congress since replacing Dave Trott in 2019. Born in Rochester Hills in 1983 and currently residing in Birmingham, she holds a BA from American University.
