Farmington Public School District recently issued the following announcement.
Good Afternoon FPS Staff and Families,
We hope that everyone is staying warm and safe on this snow day. We are writing to provide an update for this evening’s activities:
Elementary School extracurricular activities are cancelled, including community organizational events scheduled at elementary schools.
All Middle School athletic and extracurricular activities are cancelled, including community organizational events scheduled at middle schools.
All High School athletic practices are cancelled. There are No Optional Practices permitted, on or offsite.
All High School athletic* and extracurricular activities are cancelled, including community organizational events scheduled at high schools.
* The North Farmington High School junior varsity and varsity girls’ basketball teams will be traveling to Bloomfield Hills High School for their games this evening.
We look forward to seeing everyone back in school tomorrow, Friday, February 4.
Please note that the elementary breakfast and lunch menu for Friday will be:
Breakfast: Pop-Tart, Crisp Apple Strawberry Slices, 100% Juice and 1% White Milk
Lunch: Macaroni & Cheese or Sun butter & Jelly Sandwich w/Cheese Stick & Mickey Mouse Crackers. Served with fruit, vegetables and milk.
