Huron Valley Schools issued the following announcement on Apr 14.
All Huron Valley area parents are invited, even if your children attend school elsewhere.
The evening will include six breakout sessions:
-Recognizing and Responding to Anxiety in Children and Teenagers
-How to Give Good Directions
-Leading Teens to a Drug and Alcohol Free Life
-Social Media and Students
-Suicide Prevention
-Building the Parent Village (identifying pressures/stressors that can lead to self-harming behaviors and techniques on how to say 'no' in uncomfortable situations)
