Wednesday, March 26: Lakeland High School standout Tate Farquhar’s college team loses to Notre Dame Fighting Irish

On Wednesday, March 26, former Lakeland High School standout Tate Farquhar’s current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at Frank Eck Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 12 p.m. at McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
