Rep. Haley Stevens, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 11th district since 2019, recently used her social media platform to highlight her legislative priorities and ongoing concerns about community safety and affordability.
On September 22, 2025, Stevens posted on X (formerly Twitter), "Watch: Standing on the House floor to honor Michigan’s community violence intervention workers, who save lives every day. Their work, supported by CVI funding, helped cut shootings & homicides in Detroit by 30% this summer. Under Trump, their work is on the chopping block."
Later that day, she shared another post containing only a link: "https://t.co/Slv8BlTZSZ" (September 22, 2025).
The following day, on September 23, Stevens addressed rising grocery costs with a legislative proposal: "I want to make your next trip to the grocery store cheaper. My No Tariffs on Groceries Act will do just that."
Stevens has represented Michigan's 11th district since succeeding Dave Trott in 2019. Born in Rochester Hills in 1983 and currently residing in Birmingham, she holds a BA from American University.
