Rep. Haley Stevens, who represents Michigan’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed issues related to manufacturing investments and worker compensation in a series of posts on her social media account.

On October 7, 2025, Stevens posted a message emphasizing her stance on bipartisan support for backpay, stating, "I will not play political games with folks' livelihoods. Backpay has bipartisan support." Earlier that day, she also shared a link without additional commentary: https://t.co/eUfXqlvd2o.

The following day, on October 8, 2025, Stevens criticized former President Donald Trump’s proposed policy regarding manufacturing investments. She wrote, "Trump’s plan to cancel $1 billion in manufacturing investments is wrong. Michigan workers shouldn’t pay the price for his political games. They deserve leaders who invest in their future. I’ll always fight to protect Michigan’s manufacturing economy."

Stevens has represented Michigan’s 11th District since 2019, succeeding Dave Trott. She was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan, in 1983 and currently resides in Birmingham. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
