Rep. Haley Stevens, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 11th district since 2019, posted a series of messages on her official X (formerly Twitter) account in October 2025 addressing a range of political and humanitarian issues.

On October 12, 2025, Stevens commented on ongoing political negotiations in Washington, writing, "Trump and Republican leaders are playing politics with our troops’ paychecks and Michiganders’ health care. We need a deal that keeps the government open, pays our troops, lowers costs, and protects health care."

The following day, October 13, 2025, she expressed support for families affected by the conflict involving Hamas: "I am overjoyed to see the images of the hostages reuniting with their families after two long, brutal years of being held in captivity by Hamas. We are one step closer to peace, ending the suffering, and ending this war."

Also on October 13, Stevens recognized Indigenous Peoples’ Day with a message stating, "Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the strength, history, and heritage of Native communities across Michigan and the country."

Stevens, born in Rochester Hills, Michigan in 1983 and a resident of Birmingham, has been active in public service since replacing Dave Trott in Congress. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
