Rep. Haley Stevens, who represents Michigan’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media in October 2025, addressing cultural celebrations and economic policy.
On October 18, Stevens acknowledged Italian American Heritage Month, stating, " October is Italian American Heritage Month! Grateful for the generations of Italian Americans who’ve shaped our culture, community, and country, including right here in Michigan!"
Two days later, on October 20, she extended greetings for Diwali, posting, "Wishing a warm and joyful Diwali to everyone celebrating across Michigan!"
Later that same day, Stevens commented on international trade and national security, writing, "China’s latest supply-chain retaliation proves what we already know: Donald Trump’s tariff chaos is not a solution. My Unearth America’s Future Act will help us secure rare earth minerals, strengthen our manufacturing, and protect our national security."
Stevens has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Dave Trott. She was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan in 1983 and currently resides in Birmingham. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
