Democtratic Candidate Kelly Breen claimed victory in the race for House District 38, defeating Republican opponent Chase Turner.
Breen expressed gratitude in a statement posted on her Facebook page on Nov. 4.
“I am grateful and humbled to the people of the 38th District for your votes and putting your trust in me to be your next State Representative. I am ready to get to work for our communities. This is my home and nothing could be more important to me than making you all proud. Thank you to my amazing team of staff and volunteers who helped throughout the campaign. I would not be going to Lansing without you. Best wishes to my opponent, Mr Turner. I wish him well on his next journey.”
