West Bloomfield School District issued the following announcement on July 15.
West Bloomfield High School Summer Excel students took their learning on the road today with a special visit to TreeRunner West Bloomfield Adventure Park. The purpose of the field trip was for students to take a risk and believe in themselves when trying new activities. Ms. Zalla and Mr. Avery even got in on the fun and excitement today!
Excel students participate in weekly holistic learning sessions with guest speakers, as well as activities to help build relationships and long term success. Each four week session includes one field trip.
We are proud of these students and educators for embracing this new approach to summer learning! Great job everyone
