Walled Lake Consolidated Schools issued the following announcement on Aug 6.
The Michigan Department of Education is accepting nominations for the 2021 Education Support Staff Professional of the Year.
Those working in educational support staff roles such as transportation, food service, custodial, skilled trades, maintenance, secretarial, administrative assistants, security guards, and paraprofessionals are eligible to be considered for the award.
All nominations are due by Monday, September 13, 2021, at 5 p.m.
