Farmington Public School District issued the following announcement on Feb 23.
Mark your calendars!
The Farmington High School Symphony Orchestra will be putting on a production of The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens.
The concernt will feature their string players, as well as flute, clarinet, percussion, and two pianists! There will be some fun visuals to go along with their program, as well as narration by WRCJ's longtime radio host, Dave Wagner. The string players will also be performing works by Mozart and Holst on the program.
The symphony orchestra under the direction of Ted McDonald have specifically kept younger students in mind when they decided to take on this performance, so the more kids there, the better!
