The Milford High School Automotive students, in collaboration with Oakland Schools, participated in "Manufacturing Day" on October 7th. The Webasto facility in New Hudson was a generous host as they gave the students an in-depth tour of the building, equipment, and process needed to produce the hard-top panels for the new Ford Bronco. MHS Auto Instructor added "To see the entire process from start to finish was pretty amazing.
This was a great opportunity for our students to witness different levels of employees from hourly workers to software engineers, all working side-by-side with automated robots, to contribute towards the final product."
