On Tuesday, March 4, former Detroit Catholic Central High School standout Evan Haeger’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTRGV Vaqueros.

The game took place at Schroeder Park. This was their first matchup against the Vaqueros this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against Rice Owls.
