City of Farmington issued the following announcement on Mar 3.
Industry Representatives Participate in Cannabis Information Sessions on March 15 & 16
The City of Farmington Hills is hosting three information sessions with panelists experienced in the commercial marijuana industry. Now that Michigan has legalized both medical and recreational cannabis, including commercial production and retail distribution, the City wants to learn more about the industry and its potential impact on the community.
Industry representatives will participate in three different Zoom sessions that will be livestreamed and available to watch later on the City’s YouTube channel:
• Session #1 - Tuesday, March 15 - 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Growers (all classes) and Processors

Panelists will answer questions submitted in advance by City officials. Farmington Hills residents are encouraged to follow the Zoom link for their session of choice or watch via YouTube and may submit informational questions via Zoom Q & A or by email in advance or during each session to FHClerk@fhgov.com. Public questions will be reviewed by the session facilitator and addressed if time permits.
All public questions received will be included as part of the session record and provided to City Council. The purpose of these sessions is strictly informational; public workshops to be held at a later date will address community concerns, opinions, and feedback following City Council review of the industry representative sessions.
