On December 9, 2024, Rep. Stevens expressed her dismay over an anti-Semitic attack on Jordan Acker's home. She stated: "Jordan Acker is a dedicated public servant and he and his family should be safe in their own home. I am sickened by the anti-Semitic attack on his home last night. Vandalism, violence, and bigotry have no place in America." She emphasized that such acts of hatred are unacceptable in America.
The following day, December 10, 2024, Rep. Stevens extended her support to the Syrian community within her district amidst ongoing political changes in Syria. She tweeted: "In this moment of transformation, I join the Syrian community in Michigan’s 11th District in hoping for a peaceful transition toward a government built on the Syrian people’s inalienable rights to freedom, self-determination, and security."
On the same day, she also commented on the recent developments in Syria with optimism regarding its future post-dictatorship era: "The fall of the brutal dictatorship in Syria is a promising moment for the people of Syria and Syrians worldwide." This reflects her hope for relief after years of conflict.
