On February 1, 2025, Rep. Stevens expressed gratitude after meeting with Aviva, the wife of Keith Siegel, who was held hostage for 51 days along with their daughters. She acknowledged their advocacy efforts by stating: "I've met with Keith's wife, Aviva (who was held hostage for 51 days), and his daughters several times and am so thankful that their tireless advocacy paid off, and they will finally be together as a family."

In another tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Stevens announced the release of Israeli-American Keith Siegel and fellow hostages Ofer Kalderon and Yarden Bibas after being held captive for 484 days by terrorists. She conveyed her relief by saying: "Keith is coming home! I am so relieved to see Israeli-American, Keith Siegel, along with fellow hostages Ofer Kalderon and Yarden Bibas, released after 484 days held hostage by terrorists."
