Rep. Haley Stevens, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan's 11th district, recently expressed her views on tax policy and community engagement through a series of tweets. Her comments touched on the impact of tax cuts, local engagement efforts, and congratulatory remarks for award winners in Oakland County.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Stevens addressed the issue of tax cuts, stating that "$4.5 trillion in tax cuts for @ElonMusk and his ultra rich buddies won't bring down costs for working Michiganders." She advocated for reinstating the child tax credit as a priority to support Michigan families.

The following day, February 13, 2025, she commented on recent events in Washington and announced her return to Oakland County. In her tweet, she stated: "The last few weeks have been unsettling here in Washington, but I’m going to be back in Oakland County tomorrow and would like to hear your thoughts and concerns." She invited constituents to join a teletown hall meeting scheduled for that evening.

Later on February 13, 2025, Rep. Stevens extended congratulations to award recipients within Oakland County. Her brief message read: "Congratulations to all the amazing award winners across Oakland County!"
