On March 17, 2025, Rep. Stevens expressed her condolences for the passing of Nita Lowey. She wrote: "Sending much love and support for all those who knew and loved the legendary Nita Lowey. She was indelibly kind and accessible and her service for the country and the people of New York will never be forgotten. Godspeed Madam Chair, you are loved and admired."
Later that day, she extended holiday greetings to her constituents in Oakland County with a tweet saying: "Wishing everyone in Oakland County a happy St. Patrick’s Day! I feel lucky to represent you all in the Congress! Stay safe and don’t forget to wear green!"
On March 18, 2025, Rep. Stevens addressed healthcare issues concerning Medicaid in Michigan through another tweet: "2.6 million Michiganders rely on Medicaid for their healthcare. That’s 26% of our state’s population. Letting @ElonMusk gut Medicaid would bankrupt families of kids with disabilities and rip prenatal care away from expectant moms! I’m not going to stand by and let that happen!"
