Rep. Haley Stevens, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 11th district, recently shared updates on local developments and a security incident through her social media posts. Stevens succeeded Dave Trott in 2019 and resides in Birmingham, Michigan.

On March 20, 2025, Rep. Stevens expressed her admiration for Oakland County's leadership following a State of the County address by the Executive Officer of Oakland County. She stated: "The state of Oakland County is strong! My team and I are inspired by @OakGovEO’s leadership at his State of County address tonight. His continued commitment to economic development, workforce training, expanded transit and housing affordability makes Oakland County the place to."

Later that day, she addressed an ongoing situation at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital in Troy with a cautionary message to residents: "I’m monitoring the situation at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Please avoid the area and if you have information, call 911."

Following this incident, Rep. Stevens commended law enforcement's response and provided an update regarding those involved: "Thank you to the quick action of law enforcement following the incident at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital this morning. I’m relieved to learn the suspect is in custody and the victim is getting needed medical treatment. I’m praying for their speedy recovery."
