Rep. Haley Stevens, who represents Michigan's 11th District in the U.S. Congress, made several tweets recently addressing local educational events and legislative priorities. Currently serving in Congress since 2019, Stevens expressed her support for engineering education and various legislative initiatives.

On April 4, 2025, Rep. Haley Stevens extended her support to the teams participating in the robotics state competition. She tweeted, "Good luck to the incredible teams from across Michigan finishing up the FIRST Robotics State Competition today at Saginaw Valley State University! The engineering and coding skills you’re building will carry you far! These students deserve leadership in the Congress that".

Discussing legislative actions on April 5, 2025, Stevens wrote about efforts to facilitate technology advancement. She stated, "By establishing the Foundation for Metrology and Standards, this bill will accelerate technology commercialization, strengthen international collaborations, and support NIST’s world-class workforce. It's time to advance this bipartisan, bicameral bill and unleash American".

In another tweet on the same day, Stevens elaborated on the need for enhanced resources for federal science agencies. She said, "Now more than ever, our federal science agencies need every tool to drive U.S. tech leadership. It's why I introduced the EPIC Act last week to ensure that NIST—a vital agency in emerging technology, standards, and manufacturing—has the resources to secure American leadership."
