First Presbyterian Church recently issued the following announcement.

STRIKE OUT HUNGER

Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Grab your family, your friends, or your youth group and register NOW to participate in this year’s Strike Out Hunger event at the Pinz Bowling center in South Lyon, Michigan. All proceeds from this event will go to support Active Faith, our local community food pantry. The cost is $25 per person or $100 per lane (up to 5 people) and includes a large pizza, soft drinks, bowling shoes, and as many games as you and your teammates can play between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. There will be a 50/50 drawing and a raffle with several beautiful gift baskets donated by many generous business owners and individuals from South Lyon and the surrounding community.

Active Faith Community Services is a nonprofit organization that has been serving low income households in the South Lyon Community School District since 1987. We provide food and clothing to an average of 120 families per month. Our communities continued support, fosters individuals in becoming self-sufficient.

We are excited to announce our seventh annual Strike-Out-Hunger bowling event. It will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Pinz Bowling Center in South Lyon from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are inviting you to join us with your sponsorship for the 2020 fundraiser. We have three levels of sponsorship available.

$500 Event Sponsor

Your business’s name and logo will be printed on the front of the program as well as on a poster to be displayed at the event.

If your business has a banner, you may bring your banner to the event as a means of advertising for your business.

$250 Supporting Sponsor

Your business name will be listed inside the program as well as on a poster to be displayed at the event.

$100 Lane Sponsor

Your business name will be listed inside the program and displayed above the lane you are sponsoring.
