With the onset of the COVID-19 virus. World Language classes have shifted swiftly to a "remote environment." Teachers across the country are facing enormous changes in how they connect with their students and carry on language learning practices that promote proficiency in the language.
This webinar will feature guest speakers who will discuss strategies that work across age groups and levels and address how teachers are responding to the current situation and practicing self-care.
Special hosts Rebecca Aubrey, ACTFL 2019 Teacher of the Year, and T.J. Troche, PLAN President and Member of the AATSP Board of Directors, and Dawn Samples, Director of MORE Professional Learning will be sending out polls to teachers for feedback. That information will then be covered during the webinar!
Other special guests include, Julie Speno of Mundo de Pepito, K-4 Spanish/Russian teacherand Meredith White, high school Spanish teacher and 2020 FLAG Teacher of the Year.
