Village of Wolverine Lake issued the following announcement on Sept 14.
The Village of Wolverine Lake has applied to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for a grant to replace the existing play structure at Clara Miller Park with two new ADA compliant, age-specific play structures: one for ages 5 and under, and the other for ages 5 to 12.
A new pathway will run from the existing pavilion to the playground, and new benches and trees will be installed near the play equipment. The plans for the project are attached. The Village is gathering e-mails and letters of support for the project to supplement its grant application.
If you’d like to help the Village obtain this grant, please send a letter of support to the Village (425 Glengary, Wolverine Lake MI 48390 or admin@wolverinelake.com) on or before September 30, 2021.
