Township of Highland issued the following announcement on Feb 4.
Calling all high school and college students who attend school in Oakland County @waterresourceoc is seeking art to be added to its stormwater manhole covers. They are asking for original art submissions that will be cast onto stormwater covers throughout Oakland County.
One winner will:
• Receive a $1000 scholarship from Pure Oakland Water
• See their work featured on 50 stormwater manhole covers throughout Oakland County
• Receive a small replica of their stormwater manhole cover
