City of Farmington recently issued the following announcement.
Tonight, we will be live streaming a Community Engagement Meeting for Castle Dental Laboratory, which is located on Farmington Road in Downtown Farmington. (Live stream link: https://www.farmgov.com/City-Services/Government/View-Live-Meetings.aspx) The Michigan Economic Development Corp’s (MEDC) Redevelopment Ready Technical Assistance Team will be conducting the meeting.
Farmington is one of fifty Redevelopment Ready communities, designated by the MEDC. The MEDC's Tech Assistance Team is comprised of architecture firm Archive DS and planning/redevelopment consultant Place and Main, LLC. They will be at city hall Thursday, Feb. 24 from 5-7 p.m. to discuss their vision for the redevelopment of Castle Dental Labs, located on Farmington Road between Chase Bank and CVS. After half a century as a downtown business, the business owners are retiring, and seeking highest and best use for redevelopment in coordination with the Downtown Master Plan.
