The long-awaited Farmington Road Streetscape Project in Downtown Farmington is ready for the next step. The jackhammer is primed, and the road will be closing.
Beginning Tuesday, July 5 at 7 a.m., Farmington Road will completely close from Grand River Avenue to Orchard Street for the duration of the Farmington Road Streetscape project. The project is anticipated to last until late fall this year. We ask that everyone please adhere to the posted signage for detours around the construction site. The project includes street, sidewalk, and utility improvements as well as enhanced pedestrian connections, accessibility, and safety.
All Farmington Road businesses will remain open and accessible during the construction.
