TAFT ROAD & 9 MILE ROUNDABOUT REMINDER
Contractors will begin mobilizing to the intersection this Saturday to start setting up the southbound closure of Taft Road from 9 to 10 Mile and the east half of the 9 Mile intersection for the construction of the roundabout. The contractor will begin removing the existing pavement early next week and installing the new retaining wall at the intersection's southeast corner.
Northbound ONLY traffic will be maintained on Taft Road. The posted detour will be 10 Mile Road to Beck Road to 8 Mile Road and back to Taft Road. The roundabout project is scheduled to be completed in mid-October.
