Beginning next week, the western sidewalk along Farmington Road from Grand River to Alta Loma will be closed for the remainder the project. This is in preparation for the placement of concrete roadway and to allow for the concrete paving machinery to safely travel within the construction zone away from pedestrians. Additionally, upon completion of concrete road paving, the sidewalk construction will begin. The temporary pedestrian crosswalks previously placed through the middle of the project have already been removed.
No vehicular or pedestrian access will be permitted onto or across Farmington Road between Orchard Street and Grand River.
All businesses will continue to remain open during construction. Please utilize accessible rear and side entrances to all businesses where necessary.
