The 20th Annual Rouge River Water Festival takes place September 13-16 at the Cranbrook Institute of Science, and volunteers are needed to assist elementary school groups throughout the day. Different shifts are available.
The Rouge River Water Festival is designed to help elementary students learn about our most precious natural resource - clean, fresh water. This free program will help students appreciate the importance of water and how it impacts their daily lives. It also provides students with hands-on activities to help them understand water resource-related topics including ecosystems, the geosphere and the hydrologic cycle. Students will cycle through 4 presentations from different local environmental organizations for a fun and impactful day of learning!
