Beautification Commission Presents Annual Awards
The Farmington Hills Beautification Commission held its 2022 awards reception on Thursday, October 27 at the Costick Center. This annual event recognizes businesses, organizations, and residential entrances that make Farmington Hills a more beautiful place to live and work.
The Beautification Commission presented two special awards. The Beautification Commissioners’ Award went to St. Fabian Church and School, located at 32200 W. Twelve Mile Road, which was recognized for its expansive landscape renovation and beautifully maintained grounds.
Susan Arlin, CEO of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, honored Sellers Buick GMC, located at 38000 Grand River Avenue, with the Chamber Award in recognition of their impressive landscaping.
In total, the event recognized 69 businesses, organizations, and residential entrances in Farmington Hills that showed outstanding landscape design and originality. Winners were recognized by Mayor Vicki Barnett, City Council members, City Manager Gary Mekjian, Beautification Commission members, and the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce.
