Wixom Police has partnered with Families Against Narcotics (FAN) to provide help to families in combatting the opioid epidemic. The "Hope not Handcuffs" program is available through Wixom Police, and provides support to those in need, and their families experiencing an opioid crisis.

FAN has coordinated with area Police Departments and has scheduled several training sessions over the coming weeks. FAN will be conduction training at the Wixom Police Department for those interested in becoming an “Angel” on November 14 (between 6.00pm - 7:15pm) and December 28 (10:00am - 11:30am).
