Does your winter tax bill seem different?
In November, Oakland County voters approved a 10-year, .95 mill Oakland County transportation millage to maintain and expand public transit services. As a result, taxpayers will see an additional tax on their winter bill. Just like other millages (Education, Cultural arts, Zoo, etc.) the City of Novi simply serves as the fiduciary and collects the taxes for each entity.
