It’s that time again, another Winter Storm coming! Some tips from your favorite police department:
1. If you don’t have to leave the house, please don’t! The roads will be covered with thick, wet snow. If you have to leave the house, DRIVE SLOW. Stay focused, and drive at a safe speed. If someone wants to pass in the snow covered left lane, let them.
2. If you see emergency lights, that doesn’t not mean you go faster or go towards the lights. MOVE OVER, give space to those responders. They may be inside their vehicles or outside, both are very dangerous.
3. If you are a resident, please make sure your vehicle is moved off of the street for our plow trucks to work. If your vehicle remains in the street, you may receive a citation. See the local ordinances for more information.
