Farmington seeks two new DDA board members

The City of Farmington is looking to fill two vacancies on its Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors. Both open seats are required to be filled by a merchant or property owner within the downtown.

The Farmington Downtown Development Authority (DDA) meets the first Wednesday of every month at 8 a.m. Downtown Farmington is a Select Level Main Street Oakland County community. The DDA supports business development, encourages historic preservation, and promotes economic growth. Board members serve a 4-year term; the vacant terms both expire on Feb. 28, 2024.

Those interested should fill out a board and commission application and return it to Farmington City Hall: 23600 Liberty Street; email it to mandrade@farmgov.com; or call 248-474-5500, ext 2221. An application can be found at: https://www.farmgov.com/City-Services/Forms-and-Permits/Government/Application_BoardsCommissionsCommittees.aspx, they are also available at City Hall. Applications are due by Wednesday, March 15.
