Did you know that late winter though early spring is the prime time of the year to collect sap to make maple syrup?
Join backyard maple syrup producer Don Snoeyink this Saturday, March 18th to learn about what sap is, where to find it, and how to turn it into sweet maple syrup. Patrons will also learn how to identify a maple tree with or without it's leaves. At the end of the presentation, everyone will get a taste of maple syrup on vanilla ice cream!
